The German Ministry for Economics and Energy (BMWi) is funding German AI research with 11.2 million euros to develop safe, innovative electronic systems for future vehicle generations. The project started on 01.04.2021.
In order to optimally support and automate design processes for future electronic systems in vehicles, the use of AI methods is inevitable. By using AI, functionally safe electronics systems can be developed faster, more reliably, and more cost-effectively. High-performance and sustainable electronic systems are a key success factor for the mobility of the future.
The project progressivKI is managed by Robert Bosch Multimedia Car GmbH. To benefit from the broad-based expertise of the participants, not only other large established companies are involved, but also promising pioneers in their field such as the two Munich-based companies CELUS and Luminovo.
