After the show is before the show - all the preparations of the previous months, the long trade show days and the tired feet in the evenings are finally over. Time to relax and review the four days of electronica 2022.
For the CELUS team, this event was not our first trade show, but the first one with our own, standalone booth. And while it started off with hiccups - the monitors we had ordered were not completely installed by the time visitors were let in - it turned out to be a successful event for the entire team.
Our electronica takeaways:
- Even a small booth can make a big noise!
We were busy on all 4 days and were constantly demoing the CELUS Design Platform. A lot of times we were actually struggling to fit all those people in. Note to self: Scale up in size next time...
- Shows are all about engagement!
It's all about the preparation... We see shows as a great opportunity for engagement with customers, partners and prospects, rather than a mere selling activity. We have had lots of meetings pre-arranged and leveraged the event for in-person conversations. We had also invited many journalists who were able to squeeze in short interviews with our SMEs. - Experiencing the hussle is the best learning!
Since the timing of the show coincided with onboarding of a couple of our new team members, we brought them all to electronica. This way, they were able to experience the electronics industry as such and also hear and see the reactions of our booth visitors to our software.
Emily, who joined us literally 2 weeks prior to the show says: "electronica 2022 was my first trade show with CELUS and I was absolutely overwhelmed by the number of visitors that crowded our booth and their positive feedback! My key takeaway is that the electronics industry is definitely ready for design automation and I am certain that we have the right tools to support this change. We had many valuable conversations and I am looking forward to showcasing our progress at the embedded world in Nuremberg, March 2023."
Yes, you saw right: We are going to exhibit at embedded world 2023 - mark your calendars and stay tuned for updates!
